UFC 216 Predictions & Event Details:

UFC 216 Featuring Ferguson vs Lee will take place at T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada on October 7th, 2017

Ferguson vs Lee

This is the main event at UFC 216 in the Light Weight Division. This is for the INTERIM LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE and the winner most probably will fight Conor McGregor
Below is a breakdown on physical features and fighting aspects of the two fighters:

Tony Ferguson

ufc216eventdetails

Height: 71 Inches
Weight: 155 lbs
Reach: 76 Inches

Kevin Lee

Height: 69 Inches
Weight: 155 lbs
Reach: 77 Inches

Well it looks like Lee will have a slight reach advantage but with the skillset Tony has it will be difficult for Lee. Lee will have to look out for different angles.
May the better fighter win! My prediction is that Tony will win the fight!

Co-Main Event – Demetrious
Johnson vs Ray Borg

Flyweight Title Fight

This is the Co-Main Event of the evening..! It’s always a pleasure watching Mighty Mouse fight. If Demetrious defends his title this Saturday, he will become the first UFC fighter to defend title for the 11th time consecutively! My prediction is that Demetrious will win the fight for sure! Although Ray is a great fighter and if he is able to give Johnson tough time, that will be a good achievement in itself and a learning curve for Ray.

UFC 215 Nunes vs Shevchenko – Event updates

UFC 215:

Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will be held on September 9, 2017 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta. Courtesy Wikipedia

Demetrious vs Ray Borg:

(Replaced by Dos Santos vs Ngannou)
This fight was scheduled as one of the main events. Fight has been canceled.

Now the event features Dos Santos vs Ngannou (heavyweight bout)
My prediction is that Dos Santos will win the fight. The strategy would be to keep distance and attack. May the better fighter win!
If the fight was scheduled Demetrious vs Ray Borg, Demetrious could have won and could have become the first fighter to consecutively defend his title for the 12th time.

Nunes vs. Shevchenko:

(bantamweight class)
This will be one of the best fights. Nunes won the first fight against Shevchenko‘but this time I am pretty sure that Shevchenko is prepared mentally and physically. No doubt Nunes is one of the best fighters & that is the reason why she is the champ. I wish both fighters the best!

Boxing Match Result – Mayweather vs Conor McGregor

Boxing Match Result – Mayweather vs Conor McGregor:

It was one of the best events I have witnessed. 12 rounds fight was scheduled between Conor & Mayweather.

Conor clearly won the first three rounds, from the fourth round on wards it was all Money Mayweather. The fight was won by Floyd Mayweather in dominant manner. Later on Mayweather told that it was the game plan to let Conor land heavy shots in the first three rounds and to take advantage of bad gas tank in the later rounds. This is exactly what Mayweather did. Conor was out of gas in the 6th round on-wards.

Although Money Mayweather won the fight but Conor earned his respect. I respect both fighters and I appreciate the efforts put in by Conor to put on a great show. In fact Conor boxed much much better than most opponents Floyd has fought against.

Floyd Mayweather announced that it was his last fight, we will miss you Floyd and definitely your name will be in hall of fame for sure. Great record 50 wins no losses, WOW!

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather

At last time has come for the biggest event in Combat fighting history, Mayweather vs Conor

I am anxiously waiting for it…finally, fireworks will start at 6 PM PST on 26th of August at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada

Finally the event I was anxiously waiting for is round the corner, that’s right! Mayweather vs Conor..

No doubt this event will break all previous PPV earnings record..

Conor will try to knock out Mayweather in the early rounds & Mayweather will utilize technique and will try to take the fight to later rounds.

12 rounds fight between two best fighters, both specialized in different discipline of Combat fighting.

The most exciting factor about this fight is, Boxer vs MMA fighter.

Conor weighed in 153 lbs and Mayweather weighed in 149.50 lbs (welterweight division fight)

During the weigh-in, Conor was looking very confident and why not, he has proven to be the best fighter with excellent reflexes..

Mayweather has won 49 fights and never got defeated, it’s an amazing professional boxig record.

I have respect for both fighters but my prediction is that Maywather will win. Why? He is undefeated in his professional boxing career and boxing for an MMA fighter is a completely different ball game.

The main key factor for Conor is to play with his opponent’s mind, which he loves doing. Within few hours, we will find out the winner. May the better fighter win!

UFC 213: Romero vs. Whittaker Results and brief breakdown

UFC 213: Romero vs. Whittaker was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting
Championship held on July 8, 2017 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada

ufc213

Anthony Pettis vs Jim Miller (Lightweight)

Anthony wins the fight on the basis of points and more damaging attacks. Unanimous Decision in favor of
Anthony pettis. After consecutive losses, it seems as if Anthony is back in the game again!

Daniel Omielanczuk vs Curtis Blaydes (Heaveyweight)

Omielanczuk showed excellent take down defense but center of the Octagon was mostly occupied by
Blaydes. Blaydes was also the more active fighter and landed some heavy punches. Blaydes wins the fight
on the basis of unanimous decision

Alistar Overeem vs Fabricio Werdum (Co-Main Event) Heavyweight Bout:

Fabricio is one of the best jiu jitsu fighters and Alistar’s striking game is excellent. Both fighters
took a slow start and Fabricio landed some good kicks. Overeem kept on playing with patience. Fabricio
drops down the guard in second round and tried to utilize his excellent jiu jitsu skills. Overeem knows
that Fabricio is a nightmare when it comes to ground game, therefore he stands up avoiding any type of
possible submissions from Fabricio. In the second round Overeem throws a good punch kick combination
and later Werdum throws two solid clean punches. First round was close, second round was won by Overeem
but in the last and final round, Fabricio throws an excellent heavy knee and after that Overeem was
ground and took punishment from Fabricio.

Fight was won by Alistar Overeem by majority decision which I personally think was not the right
decision. Fabricio was obviously the better fighter and his attacks were more damaging.

Two awesome fighters with almost the same physical height, although Alistar had 3 inches reach
advantage

Yoel Romero vs Robert Whittaker (The Main Event) Interim Middleweight Championship:

The fight began with both fighters calculating range for attack. Romero clearly won the first two
rounds and injured Whittaker’s left leg. The second and third rounds were won by Whittaker in terms of
damaging attacks. In the fifth round it was clear that Romero was trying to kill the time and avoid
attacks from Whittaker because of stamina loss.

Whittaker became the first UFC fighter from Newzealand by Unanimous decision.

Bamgbose shows good movement in the first round and shows his impressive attacking skills though Paulo

keeps the center of Octagon for most time. Paulo wins by knockout in the second round

Belfort vs Marquardt

Belfort starts the first round really slow but had a good moment. I would like to appreciate the

efforts put in by the two fighters in terms of their age. Belfort is 40 years old and Marquardt is 38

years old. Both fighters had their moment but Belfort wins the fight by unanimous decision

Gadelha vs Kowalkiewicz

two rounds but Max finds range and throws quick one two punch combination and wins the fight by

UFC 209 Results and fights breakdown

UFC 209 took place on 4th of March, 2017.
Featuring great fights. Below is a brief breakdown:
ufc 209

Mark Hunt vs Alistar Overeem:

It was a rematch between the two fighters. The first time they fought, Alistar won the fight. First round was awesome and Mark showed great heart and spirit, although

Mark’s shin was cut open while Alistar blocked his kick.

2nd round was a close one, Mark throwed a couple of good shots but Alistar attacked several times with knees.

3rd round, Alistar knocked out Mark with a clean knee attack.

Cynthia Calvillo vs Amanda Cooper:

Cynthia wins with a submission lock. Great display of transitions and technique.

Rashad Evans vs Daniel Kelly:

Daniel is one of my favorite Judo fighters. It was Rashad’s middle weight debute fight. I give the first two rounds to Daniel as he was the more active fighter.
In such big events we all want to see fire works and it happened in the last round. Both fighters showed a lot of mutual respect for each other. Daniel deserved to

win this fight and he did.

–Don’t forget to watch out for UFC 210 featuring Anthony Johnson vs Daniel Cormier–

David Teymur vs Lando Vannata:

Both fighters have great fighting skill, knockout power and high pace. This was the best fight on the card when it comes to awesome technique and fire works. I enoyed

it a lot. David won the fight by unanimous decision.

Stephen Thompson vs Tyron Woodley:

I have a lot of respect for Stephen because he was able to survive the brutal attacks from Woodley and showed heart of a real figher in the las fight.

During the first two rounds, both fighters waited on each other but wonder boy threw more strikes. The later rounds Woodley had more prominent attacks and had wonder

boy in trouble. Woodley won the fight as majority decision and because he landed more significant strikes.

UFC 205 Results and Main card fights

UFC 205 took place at Madison Square Garden on 12th of November at 7 PM Eastern Standard Time.
This event featured three title fights and broke PPV record making it one of the highest selling event.

Below are the details about the main fights on the card:

Conor Mcgregor vs Eddie Alvarez:

eddie-alvarez-vs-conor-mcgregor

Most of the spectators were voting for Conor. As Conor predicted he won the fight in great fashion.
This dominant victory over Eddie made him the light weight UFC Champion of the world.
I was personally thinking that Eddie will give Conor hard time but it was the complete opposite. In the first round Conor knocked Eddie out twice with his famous left punch but couldn’t finish the fight in the first round. In the second round, it was the same and Conor won the fight catching Eddie with four consecutive punches. This has happened for the first time in the history of UFC, a fighter holding two belts in different weight divisions. If the fight could have gone to distance, Eddie might have won the fight but Conor was so sharp with his precision that he didn’t give Eddie a single chance. Hats off to Conor and wish Eddie the best! Conor knocked out Eddie in stunning way and became the light weight champion and now holds two belts lightweight and featherweight.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz (strawweight):

joanna-jedrzejczyk-vs-karolina-kowalkiewicz>
It was a fun fight to watch. During the first three rounds Joanna was the prominent fighter and landed loads of leg kicks with great combinations. It took a lot of time for Karolina to get the momentum and rhythm. In the fourth round Karolina amazed Joanna with punches and elbow attack. Overall, it was a good fight and on the basis of points Joanna won the fight.

No doubt, a champion is a champion for a reason.

Tyron Woodley vs Stephen Thompson:

tyron-woodley-vs-stephen-thompson

This was an incredible fight, Stephen Thompson survived hell of a beating from Tyron and showed great heart. The best part is that Stephen showed a big heart, a heart of a fighter.
He never tapped out while he was being choked.
In the fifth round it looked like Tyron has lost most of his energy and was tired. Wonderboy took advantage and landed some good punches in fifth round.
It was a draw and there will be a re-match soon.

Still the champion is Tyron Woodley.

UFC 204 Results: From Bisping to Bektic Wins

UFC 205 Videos

UFC 204 Results: From Bisping to Bektic Wins

The last UFC 204 held at Manchester Arena, Manchester, England on October 8th was closed with bitterness on Dan Henderson’s side. That was the last fight of him on his UFC career, but it has to be ended with his being given unanimous-decision loss over such an emotional fight against Michael Bisping, the English fighter who was beaten by the veteran on UFC 100.
Aside of the revengeful fight, the UFC 204’s main board was featured by another middleweight fight between Gegard Mousasi and Vitor Belfort, Jimi Manuwa vs Ovince Saint Preux, Stefan Struve vs Daniel Omielanczuk, and Mirsad Bektic against Russell Doane.

Michael Bisping vs Dan Henderson

ufc-204-michael-bisping-vs-dan-henderson

Hendo was reportedly to have mentioned about retiring from his long-journeyed UFC career after defeating Hector Lombard in June. Yet, the plan was put on hold as he agreed to meet Bisping again on that last Saturday fight.

The fight was super entertaining, with both of them got fired up. Hendo was admitted to be on the upper side, raining down his best shots to Bisping for at least two-round long. Yet, the Englishman was in serious willingness to present himself as a tough fighter to Hendo and the world by sweeping away the last three rounds for his victory.

Gegard Mousasi vs Vitor Belfort

This co-main event between Mousasi and Belfort has at least given the two fighters more satisfying results, giving Mousasi an opportunity to end the fight on the second round. It was at 2:43 when the TKO’S victory revealed after Mousasi put down Belfort with his big head kick.

Jimi Manuwa vs Ovince Saint Preux

Preux was knocked out of the game at 2:38 after Manuwa came out with his series of fatal shots. Manuwa gave shot down Preux with a body shot followed with a left to the solar plexus and a right to the Preux’s jaw.

Stefan Struve vs Daniel Omielanczuk

Struve added his fifth-time win after getting an opportunity to defeat his opponent, Daniel Omielanczuk with a D’Arce choke at 1:41 of the second round. However, it was not easy for Struve to get the score as he admitted himself that his opponent was real tough.

Mirsad Bektic vs Russell Doane

On the featherweight game of the UFC 204’s main card, Mirsad Bektic needed 4 minutes and 22 seconds to beat Russell Doane with a rear-naked choke. It was Bektic’s first game after his 17-month break so it totally made sense if Bektic used all his techniques and energy to stop his opponent.
