UFC 228 took place at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas on 8th of September, 2018

Tyron Woodley vs. Darren Till

The main event was the fight featuring Tyron Woodley vs. Darren Till for the welterweight title. In the first round, both fighters were calculating distance and taking their time to choose the attack, Woodley landed a couple of good punches. In the second round, Tyron landed a powerful punch and then kept Darren on the ground until he had beaten him up with an excellent submission. Awesome victory for Woodley defending his title belt successfully for the fourth time.
The fight certainly proved that a champion is a champion for a reason and winning title require certain level of fighting skills.

Jessica Andrade vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Jessica knocked out Karolina with one punch, it was lights out for karolina. I was expecting Karolina to stay focused and have composure but she lost it all.

Zabit Magomedsharipov vs. Brandon Davis

In the first round Brandon had some success with his kicks but in the second round Zabit uses his submission skills and Brandon had to give up. I am sure that Zabit has many fights coming up which he will win and will be able to show his awesome skills, whether it’s different kicks to confuse the contender or to submit his opponents using Jujitsu. Zabit is a complete package.

John Dodson vs. Jimmie Rivera

Nothing much to say about this fight, it was mostly one sided, Rivera winning most rounds and gets a unanimous decision victory over Dodson who was not able to get offensive.

Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Niko Price

Abdul Won the fight with excellent one punch knockout. The main punch followed by a series of heavy punches knocks Niko out.

There is a certain type of aggression which is required by fighters and I see that potential in Abdul’s fighting style. It was pure power and aggression.
